Do you like listening/watching podcasts? Have you ever wondered what it would be like to create a podcast with your closest friends? 'Suburb talks' is an entertaining starter podcast that blends casual, relatable conversations with humor and real-life stories. It’s a group of best friends who come together talking about anything and everything from their past childhood experiences to their own opinions on relationships.
They mostly keep their podcast light enough that people can tune in no matter what they are feeling without lacking substance and meaning behind their topics/words. In episode 187 “What's the hardest thing to learn in your 20’s?” They started by answering some fun questions like “who would be your dream two man”, then later went on to talk about what they are currently learning in life based on their hardships and experiences. Episode 179 “What's the worst thing you’d do for money?!?” begins with talking about the Jalen Noble controversy and their thoughts on 50/50 relationships. Then they go on to talk about morally questionable things they would do for 1 million dollars. These are examples of two of their lighter podcasts that aren’t too heavy mainly just to entertain and get you thinking.
They recently started to implement deeper conversation podcasts every 6 host rotations (6 podcasts) in order to give heavier topics the time they need. In episode 169 “How have our insecurities shaped us?!?” The group talks about what family traumas have triggered them affecting them in the relationships they create with other people, social media and its effects on their mental health, and lastly how their biggest insecurities have shaped them into the people they are today. Episode 176 “Is he a red flag if he does this on the 1st date ?!?” is another example of one of their deep podcasts. They speak about how they wished their parents would have checked up on them more and tried to understand / figure out what they were going through or if they wanted space. The boys talk about how they struggle opening up and why they hate crying. Meanwhile the girls talk about their trust issues specifically with men, concluding with them asking each other who in their friend group are they most proud.
Suburb Talks is a comedy-filled, entertaining podcast that anyone can enjoy resulting in viewers reflecting on their experiences and hopefully becoming a more mature, self-aware version of themselves. I hope you will all consider tuning for an episode and possibly subscribing to their youtube channel.
